Vowesta for Claude

Plan your wedding by talking to Claude

The Vowesta connector lets Claude, and any app that speaks the Model Context Protocol, read and update the wedding you plan in Vowesta: guests, RSVPs, seating, the schedule, budget, vendors and registry.

Server address

Connect

In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors. Find Vowesta in the directory, or choose Add custom connector.
If you are adding it yourself, paste the server address: https://api.vowesta.com/mcp
Sign in with the email on your Vowesta account. We send a 6-digit code to that inbox. There is no password.
Check the address shown on the approval screen, then approve. Claude can now work with your wedding.

In Claude Code, run:

claude mcp add --transport http vowesta https://api.vowesta.com/mcp

Any other MCP client works the same way: point it at the server address and it walks you through the same sign-in. The server uses Streamable HTTP, and OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and dynamic client registration.

What Claude can do

Every tool works on your own account only. Read tools only look, change tools add or edit, and delete tools need the separate delete permission described below.

Permissions

When you approve a connection, the approval screen lists exactly what you are granting. There are three permissions.

wedding.read: See your wedding, guest list, RSVPs, seating, schedule, budget, vendors, registry, payments, guestbook and website status.
wedding.write: Add and change those things, and record an RSVP for a guest. Granted together with read by default.
wedding.manage: Delete guests, events, budget lines, vendors, tables and registry items. Only granted when the app asks for it, and listed separately on the approval screen.

Read tools are marked read-only. Delete tools are marked destructive, so Claude asks before it removes anything.

Your data

Claude can reach your own Vowesta account only, never another couple's, and only after you sign in and approve.
What you ask about is sent to the AI app you connected and handled under that app's privacy terms. Vowesta never sells guest data and shows no ads.
If you remove someone from your Vowesta team, the apps they connected lose access to your wedding straight away.
The approval screen shows where your sign-in is going, and warns you if that address is not a known AI app.

To disconnect, remove the Vowesta connector in your app's settings.

Things to ask

How many guests have said yes, and what are they eating?
Seat the Nguyen family at table 4.
Which vendors have we not booked yet?
Add the photographer's deposit to the budget, due June 1.
Move the first dance to 8:15 and tell me what else that pushes back.
